Ugh...was that a poorly constructed sentence or what? Lol...

A month ago, I wrote:

1) "Good news is that the other guy got charged in the accident."

and

2) "In the meantime, I *appear* to have experienced the beginning of what could be a beautiful relationship..."

Updates:

1) The insurance company informed me that the other driver *admitted* fault: "We paid because he said that he had a solid green light and turned directly in front of you." However, that didn't stop the local police department from sending ME a summons -- five weeks after the accident! -- accusing me of blowing a red light and causing the accident.

2) Last weekend, I attended a gathering with latest romantic interest referenced above, whom I had not seen since the end of August. He was very sweet, tender, and attentive, and I thought that our time together was exquisite. However, certain of his characteristics and actions made me realize that he is not relationship material...and I have heard from him only once in the past week. To make myself feel better, I have been telling myself that perhaps he considered me too intense or intimidating.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. Given that I am about to enter a bloody court battle with the ex, maybe it's better that my attention is not diverted right now.
